C2D organizes conferences in Switzerland and abroad on various topics related to direct democracy. Every two to three years we organize a major regional conference. For conference organization we usually team up with local and international partners.

The fourth ZDA - Avina Stiftung workshop takes place 13-15 July 2010 with a focus on 'the upcoming elections in Brazil.

This year's c2d conference will deal with the history of direct democracy in the Swiss cantons and take place in the conference centre of Aarau, 9-10 September 2010.
